Our standard latex balloons can last anywhere from 8-12 hours. 3-foot latex giant balloons float for about 36 hours before they start to sag.
We add Hi-Float to our latex balloons which can double the longevity; however, it does not work on confetti filled balloons. Microfoil balloons last 2-4 days on average. Bubble balloons last about a week.
Once balloons leave our store or delivery van, we are no longer responsible for their lifespan. Helium is sensitive to temperature & humidity, which will affect the balloon’s longevity. All balloon sales are final.
TYPE OF BALLOONS
We are proud to use 100% natural biodegradable latex balloons. As with other natural products, latex breaks down under normal environmental conditions. The latex balloons used in our stores decompose at about the same rate as an oak leaf!
Microfoil balloons, unfortunately, are not biodegradable but can be re-used.
We can fill balloons. Please refer to our pricing chart in our balloon- helium pricing will be quoted according to size and type.
Balloons fade in the sun and oxidize, creating a more matte appearance. Please do not leave your balloons in the car. Overexposure to the sun or extreme heat will pop them.
Inversely, cold weather also affects helium balloons. Helium floats because it is thinner than air, but when it gets cold, it makes it dense and heavier than air, causing it to shrivel and sink.
Once the package is opened, Bubbles must be inflated immediately, or they will dry out. Discard the moisture pack after inflation.
Do NOT use a foil (auto shut-off regulator to inflate Single Bubbles, the outer bubbles of Double Bubbles, or Deco Bubbles; if you do, the foil regulator will shut off too soon, and your Bubble will look more like a foil balloon. ONLY use latex regulators on these Bubbles and keep inflating until the wrinkles and bumps are gone.
When using helium, inflate the Deco Bubble as well as ALL balloons inside the Deco Bubble with helium. When using air, inflate ALL balloons with air.
Do not use HI-FLOAT® products or Balloon Shine™ on Bubbles or latex balloons inside Bubbles.
Bubbles are pop resistant but not pop proof. They can withstand outside pressure changes. However, exposing them to extreme heat or sharp objects may cause them to burst.
Overinflating or underinflating Bubbles can decrease float times, so follow package instructions to inflate properly and achieve the best float times.
Actual flying times will also depend on temperature and atmospheric conditions.
Deco Bubble float times will vary if other types of balloons are placed.
